NEET (UG) 2024 Re-Exam Answer Key Challenge: A Step-by-Step Guide
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 re-exam. The re-exam was held on June 23, 2024, for 1563 candidates who faced disruptions during the original exam on May 5, 2024. Candidates can now challenge the provisional answer keys, OMR answer sheets, and recorded responses. Here’s how you can do it:

Last Date: June 29, 2024 (up to 11:00 PM)

Answer Key Challenge: ₹200 per question (non-refundable)
OMR Answer Sheet Challenge: ₹200 per question (non-refundable)
How to Challenge the Answer Key:
1. Visit the Official NEET Website: Go to [http://neet.nta.nic.in & https://neet.nta.nic.in/].
2. Apply for Answer Key Challenge: Click on the link for 'Apply for Answer Key Challenge(s)'.
3. Login: Use your Application Number and Date of Birth. Enter the security pin displayed and submit.
4. Select Test Booklet Code: Choose your booklet code.
5. View Questions: Questions will appear in sequential order with the 'Correct Option' indicated.
6. Challenge an Answer: If you disagree with the correct option, select the appropriate option(s) and click the checkbox.
7. Upload Documents: If you have supporting documents, upload them as a single PDF file.
8. Save and Pay Fee: After saving your claims, proceed to pay the processing fee online through Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or Paytm.
9. Download Receipt: After successful payment, download and print your challenge receipt.
How to Challenge OMR Answer Sheet and Recorded Responses:
1. Visit the Official NEET Website: Go to [http://neet.nta.nic.in] & (https://neet.nta.nic.in/).
2. Login: Use your Application Number and Date of Birth. Enter the security pin displayed and submit.
3. OMR Challenge: Click on the 'OMR Challenge' link in the left pane.
4. View Questions: Questions will appear in sequential order with the 'Captured Response' as recorded in the OMR sheet.
5. Challenge a Response: Select the question you wish to challenge and choose the correct option under 'Candidate’s Claim'.
6. Submit and Pay Fee: Save your claims, submit them, and proceed to pay the processing fee online.
7. Download Receipt: After successful payment, download and print your challenge receipt.
Important Points:
- No challenges will be accepted after June 29, 2024 (up to 11:00 PM).
- Challenges will only be accepted online and only if the processing fee is paid.
- If a candidate’s challenge is accepted, the answer key will be revised, and the final answer key will be used to declare the results.
- No individual notifications will be sent regarding the acceptance or rejection of challenges.
